Company
We think the data stack went the wrong way.
For fifteen years the industry's answer to every data problem was to move the data somewhere else and rent it back. It worked, until the bill, the breach notice and the audit arrived. We build the other option.

Sovereignty is an engineering property, not a marketing word
Plenty of vendors will tell you your data is safe with them. We are interested in the narrower, more useful claim: that your data never has to leave, and that you can verify what happened to it without asking us.
Three things follow from taking that seriously, and they shape every product we ship.
It has to run on your hardware. Not “deployed in your VPC” with a control plane we operate. Actually on machines you own, with no outbound connection required for the software to work.
The core has to be open. A sovereignty claim you cannot read the source of is a trust claim wearing a costume. The orchestrator is Apache-2.0 and that is not reversible — which is a promise we have not finished keeping: the repository is not public yet. Until it is, hold this one against us.
Proof has to survive us. If verifying what ran required our servers, the evidence would only be as durable as our company. So receipts are signed with Ed25519 and verify offline, with a standalone tool, forever.
What we are not
- —We are not a cloud data platform with a self-hosted option bolted on the side.
- —We are not an open-source project looking for a business model later. The boundary is published now.
- —We are not an AI company. AI is a feature in our products, running on a model you choose.
- —We are not pretending to be bigger or older than we are. The status of each product is on its page.
Stated up front, because it determines how we will behave
Every open-core company has an incentive to make the free thing worse. The way to avoid that is to be specific about where the money comes from, in public, before there is pressure.
01
Licenses for the hard parts
Change data capture, enterprise systems of record, multi-environment operation. Genuinely expensive to build and maintain, and needed precisely by the organizations that can pay for them.
02
Support with a response time
A named contract for teams that need someone accountable when a pipeline fails at two in the morning. Not a gate on bug fixes — those ship to everyone.
03
Deployment work with design partners
While the platform products are in early access, we work directly with the teams deploying them. That is paid work, and it shapes the roadmap.
None of those require the free edition to be frustrating. That is the whole design.
Revoluzen
Revolution and zen: a genuine argument with how the industry does this, carried out with precision rather than noise. It also describes the software — the products are opinionated about governance and quiet about everything else.
Revoluzen Technologies Pvt Ltd is the company; Revoluzen is the brand, and every product carries it: Revoluzen Flow, Revoluzen Catalog, Revoluzen Studio, Revoluzen Console, Revoluzen Mobile and Revoluzen Evidence. The PyPI package for Revoluzen Flow is revoluzen-flow, and its command-line tool is revoluzen.
Where to go from here
Run it yourself, then decide.
Revoluzen Flow is Apache-2.0 and installs in one command. If it fits, we can talk about the parts that are not open source.
