Govern · Governed lakehouse
Revoluzen Catalog
A governed lakehouse on open table formats: medallion layers with enforced contracts, dimensional models as real objects, lineage across the whole thing, and a SQL endpoint that applies your access rules.

Who it is for
For organizations that need a warehouse they fully control — because of regulation, data residency, or a flat refusal to put the business's numbers on someone else's cluster.
The govern plane
Each product is adoptable on its own; together they share one catalog, one permission model and one run history.

Medallion layers that are enforced, not aspirational
Bronze, silver and gold are structures the platform knows about, with contracts between them, rather than a naming convention everyone agreed to in a meeting once.
- 01Contracts checked on write, so a bad upstream change fails loudly
- 02Promotion between layers is an operation with a record, not a copy job
- 03Each layer's schema and expectations are versioned
Dimensional modelling as a first-class object
Facts, dimensions and conformed dimensions exist in the catalog, which is what lets a report, a query and a pipeline all mean the same thing by 'customer'.
- 01Conformed dimensions shared across subject areas and shared with Revoluzen Studio
- 02Slowly changing dimension handling built into the model, not re-implemented per pipeline
- 03Metric definitions live beside the model they measure
A governed SQL endpoint
One place for analysts and tools to query, with your access rules applied at the endpoint instead of trusted to each client.
- 01Row-level security and column masking enforced server-side
- 02Query access scoped to the identity of the person or service asking
- 03Audited queries, so you can answer who read what
Lineage and a knowledge graph
A graph over datasets, metrics, owners and downstream consumers, so the blast radius of a change is a query rather than a guess.
- 01Column-level lineage from source through to report
- 02Ownership and stewardship recorded against each dataset
- 03Impact analysis before a schema change, not after the incident
The details, in one table
The facts a technical evaluator checks first, without having to read a datasheet.

Evaluating
Start with the open-source core
The fastest way to judge whether this platform suits you is to run Revoluzen Flow first. It is the same engineering, under Apache-2.0.
Open sourceWhat this does not do yet
You would find these out eventually. Finding them out now is cheaper for both of us.
Early access. The architecture is settled and the core is working, but this is not a product with a decade of production deployments behind it, and we will not pretend otherwise.
It is a lakehouse you operate. It assumes you have, or want, object storage and somebody to run it.
Scale characteristics are being established with design partners. We will talk about your specific volumes rather than quote a number we have not measured.
