Pricing & licensing
Priced per environment. Never per row.
Consumption pricing makes teams collect less data to stay inside a budget, which is the opposite of the point. We license the software by where it runs, so the cost is predictable before you commit to it.

Platform products
Revoluzen Catalog, Studio, Console and Mobile are in early access. They are deployed with us as design partners and scoped per deployment, not listed.
Two things set the price. Nothing else does.
The published tiers cover most teams. Organization-wide, air-gapped and sovereign deployments are a flat annual agreement, quoted after one conversation.
What drives the number
How many production environments you run, and whether you need the Business controls. Support and services are separate line items, listed below.
What does not drive it
Rows processed, pipelines built, users, seats, compute hours, connector runs, or any other metric that punishes you for using the product you bought.
Licensing, plainly
Can we run the open-source build in production, commercially?
Yes. Apache-2.0 permits commercial use, modification and distribution. You owe us nothing and you do not have to tell us.
What counts as an environment?
A deployment of the commercial software — typically one production environment, with non-production environments licensed at a lower rate. We will agree the definition in writing before you sign anything.
Do we need to send you usage data?
No. The software does not report usage to us, and license enforcement does not require a call to our servers.
What happens to our data if we stop paying?
It stays where it always was: on your infrastructure, in open table formats, in your own database. The commercial software stops being licensed; your data was never ours to hold.
You are a young company. What if you are not here in three years?
A fair question, and one we would rather you ask now. The core is Apache-2.0 and cannot be taken back. Evidence receipts verify offline with a standalone tool. For the commercial parts, we will discuss source escrow as part of a contract.
Three ways we charge for help
Fixed prices, never hours. Each one is a short list of packages with a written scope; the full price book is on the services page.
